Login or Create Account Required to PAy?

Question in regards to Payment module. Do clients have to create an account on the site to pay? Or can they just go to the cart after selecting what they want and enter their billing and shipping information?

Example: They select a product and then want to use PayPal to pay. Will they have to login on my site first or(Create an account) before getting to the part where they can pay with PayPal?

If it is required to create a login, can that be switched off?

At this time creating an account is required to checkout. Note: The same information is required to ship your items or to accept credits cards.

No switch....but you can alter the text from create an account to "Provide your billing/shipping information" or another series of text you prefer

the single ( almost sorta kinda ) exception is to use paypal express,
an account is still created, just the information comes from paypal not the customer

Will try changing the wording. And also offer Paypal express for those who wish to use their Paypal Account . If that is possible. At least till I figure what the heck I am doing and where I was suppose to be going.

Where would I find the template for changing the wording on that page. For the Login (Welcome please sign in) and the billing information (Please provide your billing information) if they do not have an account already? Just change the wording in the paragraph below each would do for me.

Use the admin > tools > developers tool kit > last box on left > enter the text > search

In this case "Please Provide" and search it will indicate the files that this text is in
