PayPal Express not refunding suddenly

Hi All,

well wouldn't you know it.....have been testing and testing over the last few weeks and everything was fine.....about to go live and start some advertising and put through one more order just to make sure everything was fine....order went through no problems but the refund function is now not working. Full or Partial.

Anyone else having these problems???

Are you saying that it was refunding properly, but is not anymore?

What specific failure message is it giving you?

yep...everything was working perfectly....5 times in fact!

The funny thing Doc is that there is no error message at all....the page simply refreshes with no updates to the notes.

I have confirmed that paypal is not refunding by logging into paypal.

... and you're checking the "confirm" box, right?

I just did an order and tested the refund and am having no problem with it.
There could be some sort of intermittent problem on PayPal's end.

When did it start happening? How long has it been going on?

ok here is a thought....after i entered this trial order....we reset the orders so that they started on 1500....

so i just tried another order......no problem.....refund worked a treat!

must have been because i entered that first order....reset the order numbers..and then tried to refund....thats all i have done

Anyway problem fixed and i appreciate you help in at least ensuring that paypal was working on your end:)
