making First Order shipping and billing address match

Is there any option to require the customers first order only allowed to ship to their billing address.

We have seen other companies do this and can stop a lot of fraud activity.

Ok, have figured out what changes are needed to implement this. Basically at the Step 1 of 3 Delivery Page in Checkout.

Need some code to check:

if customers orders > 0 (SHOW change shipping button)
else (disable change shipping button

Would appreciate any help with finding out the references to this. I know they can later change details say through paypal, but as long as it's confirmed is ok. And also GoogleCheckout seem to check most and approve so it's ok there.

I'm looking too, Dont need those scammers making bogus orders and then doing charge backs, at least with the confirmed address, it will minimize most of the fraud.

Hi - I need an answer to this question too, if at all possible.

You can restric the billing to be the shipping with out adding any code.. all orders will be finalized with billing and shipping being the same..

In configuration > Maximum Values > set the Addressbook entries to value 1
