Emails not being sent for orders after installing Tell-A-Friend-Free-Shipping module

I'm looking for a point in the right direction. The order confirmation emails were working, but not now. The account creation and order update emails work, so iot seems specific to just the order confirmation. I add a couple add-ons yesterday that are likely part of the problem.

My question is what triggers that email? I figure it's likely the order_success page, but wanted to ask before I go off on a wild goose chase.

I installed Best Sellers Reloaded v1.1 and Tell A Friend Free Shipping Module.

I removed the Tell A Friend Free Shipping Module and it's working again. I'm not sure if I missed something in the install or it's a bug in the module.
