Banner image shows as Red X

I've searched the forums and can't find my answer... I'm sure this is simple but can't figure what I'm doing wrong...
I've used the banner manager, uploaded a banner including a URL it's to point to . My banner appears in the rotation of banners, but the image appears "broken" (the dreaded red x)... I tried uploading as a .jpg and then as a .gif but both give this error...

The link is there and working, but the image is just not displaying...

This is in the footer at http://meredithcreations.biz/hoodcleaningschooluniforms/ I am continuing to work on this, so I may have it solved by the time you see this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Dan
