discount for walk in....

Its me again!

I was just wondering if I can have a discount on the order if someone decides to pick up.

for example, I want to honor a 10% discount for customers who chooses to pick their order up.

now I tried putting -10% on shipping modules>store pick, but when I tested it, it says -$10 for shipping...

any ideas?

You should be able to customize the Store Pickup storepickup file by editing:
/includes/modules/shipping/storepickup.php

and locating the code:

    $this->quotes = array('id' => $this->code,
                          'module' => MODULE_SHIPPING_STOREPICKUP_TEXT_TITLE,
                          'methods' => array(array('id' => $this->code,
                                                   'title' => MODULE_SHIPPING_STOREPICKUP_TEXT_WAY,
                                                   'cost' => MODULE_SHIPPING_STOREPICKUP_COST)));

and changing it to read:

    $this->quotes = array('id' => $this->code,
                          'module' => MODULE_SHIPPING_STOREPICKUP_TEXT_TITLE,
                          'methods' => array(array('id' => $this->code,
                                                   'title' => MODULE_SHIPPING_STOREPICKUP_TEXT_WAY,

when I put your code in, it works, but somehow the free shipping doesnt work anymore.

what I am setting is 8.50 flat shipping for anything under 99.99 after 100 its free..

would the code you gave me for walk in affect the paid shipping?

Are you using the Free Shipping Options freeoptions for a Free Shipping method?

Or, are you using the Shipping ot_shipping on Free orders >= XX.XX?

Using the Free Shipping in ot_shipping will turn off the Store Pickup storepickup ...

Using Zones could be set with:
Calculation Method: Price
Zone 1 Countries: 00
Zone 1 Shipping Table: 99.99:8.50,99999:0.00

And customize the text ...

Then the Store Pickup storepickup as defined above ...
