Affiliate Banners won't click to their site!
I had 120 merchant ads on my site, but I took them off because they would not go to the intended site when you click on them. They used to work, and commission junction says not to encrpyt them which I did before they said not to, due to it causing problems.
My host tried a back up and they still do not work. My Chapters and Google ads work fine. When I signed up to another affiliate company and put their ad up, it worked fine too. It has to do with Commission Juncitions code. The vendors are saying the code is fine, and when I could not view them...other people could!! So, I went and got my other computer and sure enough, it would like through, just not on my original system where I put the banner ads up originally!! I tried update Windows, got rid of spybot did an AV run, so did my host and they said there are no viruses.... I am not using a override because I had trouble with getting some stuff to work a while ago.
It's either Com Junc.: My system: or the code being encrypted and when my host did a backup or used dreamweaver or whatever they used, it is said that it makes the encryption code unreadable to my system that I used to put the banners up originally?
I used to have my site as:https://www.cosmickodiak.com/zen_cart and I asked my host to make it so that if people typed www.cosmickodiak.com that it would go to the page, before one had to type in the extra /zen_cart as this is where my file folder for my home site is located.
I am confused: what is the fix for banner code that is encrypted that can no longer be viewable by the original computer that put them up on Zen Cart??
