installed...now what?

Hi all
Complete novice and really missing something here... possible brain cells.
have downloaded:

Zen Cart 1.3.6 (also includes update from 1.3.5)

And... erm... what now. I have all these files and dont actually have a clue how to get started.

You really should start with the latest 1.3.7.1 fully patched version. :yes:

You say "installed...now what?" and then, "downloaded". Is it installed on
your server or on your computer?

There's a wealth of info in the docs folder of the ZenCart distribution to help you get started.

I'm with TShooters. Download the latest version of Zen Cart before you get started. Follow the "download" link at the top of the forum.

Once you download the latest version, unzip it to your local computer so you can become familiar with the folder/file structure. Use an FTP client (FileZilla and SmartFTP are good free ones) to upload Zen Cart to your website and get started.

Ok I am lost here as well, everything is all new to me with this zen cart. https://www.bargainsgalore4u.com/store is my zen cart. However I keep trying to add the products and am getting no where can someone help me please. I don't know what version it is, all I know is it's the one lunar pages gives you. Thank you in advance.

Go into your admin and look under "tools". There should be a link to show you all the info about what version your cart is.

You are ALWAYS better off downloading the latest version of Zen Cart using the links from this website and installing it yourself.

1.3.0 is my version

You really should upgrade to 1.3.7.1 before you do anything else.
