My Account - complete listing of items purchased

This doesn't need to be fancy.. it can even be like the quick reorder box...
but it would be cool if a customer could see a complete listing in a sidebox of all the items they have purchased with the store.

Thoughts?

Re: My Account - complete listing of items purchased

Zen already has that inplaced, infact if a customer comes back to the site and they have order something they can view that order.
I think you can find that info in the admin>tools>Column Boxes Controller
then look for sideboxes/shopping_cart.php and turn it on

Re: My Account - complete listing of items purchased

Hi Nomad, We already have that one on (it is for the current order only) ...
What would be nice is one that lists all purchases (like a history) that the customer has made. :)

Know of anything that would do that?

Re: My Account - complete listing of items purchased

Ksoup:
The close you can get is the re-order side bar which list the product only, or the Account information which gives them a history on what they purchaced, date, order id.
Something to think about is how would you get all that info onto the width of the side bar, unless you just had one side bar.
The best think I think would tell the customer to click on the Account information for a history of their purchases.

PS Just my thoughts. If you know php I'm sure there is away of doing this.
Good luck....

Um ... the quick-re-order sidebox isn't limited to the current order. It's based on all orders ever placed by the currently-logged-in customer.

Re: My Account - complete listing of items purchased

ok... found the settings in admin... but they are not named the same...

Recent purchases box in admin > max values allows you to set the maximum amount of items to show...
but the side box is order_history.

When i run a query of all products ordered, it doesn't match up to the amount listed in that box.

I did a compare and it doesnt include products that are off (which is awesome) but it doesnt include all products purchased that are on...

why could that be?

Re: My Account - complete listing of items purchased

The only reasons for differences would be:
a) you're comparing against all customers or somehow have the wrong query;
or
b) you've got the max limit set too low in the admin

The query it uses is this:

                   select distinct op.products_id
                   from orders o, orders_products op, products p
                   where o.customers_id = <insert_customer_number>
                   and o.orders_id = op.orders_id
                   and op.products_id = p.products_id
                   and p.products_status = '1'
                   group by products_id
                   order by o.date_purchased desc
limit <insert max value from admin>
