different categories with different purchase values

Hi guys,

I'm happy to go figure this out but I just need to be pointed in the right direction... I wasn't sure what to search for.

I would like a certain category on my site to do this:

http://www.patchworkfabrics.com.au/fabrics.html

As in, most categories are per item but some would be by the metre.

Can I do this in Zen and where would I go to do it or to find instructions.

Thanks for the reply but no this isn't quite it... I've been to that tutorial too.

Most of my products are items but some are fabrics that can be sold by the meter so I would like the fabrics category to allow people to put in .25 (or similar) in the quantity box and have the system work out that cost.

Is that doable?

If you go to this link and click on one of the categories you'll see the way it's set up with the quantity box and then the 'm' for per meter (the url won't go straight to the page I want so you have to click)
