Advanced search - getting number of results

Hi,

I am trying to figure out (for stats purposes) how many results are returned by a search. I would therefore try and find out where I can hook in to log the returned results. Should be quite easy, yet I seem to be struggling with the files involved in the search/advanced search. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Christoph

Re: Advanced search - getting number of results

The search results are display using the product-listing module.
Thus the result-count is $listing_split->number_of_rows in /includes/modules/product_listing.php

Re: Advanced search - getting number of results

Hi DrByte, thanks for that - I found I can also pick this up from

/includes/templates/MYTEMPLATE/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php

which allows me to keep the core files untouched and integrate this with the search_log mod. (see search_log thread)

Thanks
