General questions about zen cart

I'm shopping for a new shopping cart and have a few questions. I have several thousand items in my inventory, and the ability to batch-manage is very important to me. My current shopping cart has a very limited upload of excel spreadsheets, with many items like Categories and photos not batchable. Does zen cart offer this capability?

For photos, I'd really like to be able to upload a batch of pics at a time and then link them to the right item. How does zen handle photos? Are different sizes (thumbnail, regular, zoom) available, and does each one have to be uploaded separately?

Does zen provide a feed to Google/Froogle or other?

There are modules to handle the excel spreadsheet and will take care of all product and category needs its called easypopulate

Images can be either loaded in 3 different sizes or you can use a module called image handler which will let youupload 1 image and that image is cached and displayed in all 3 sizes,

there are also third part modules for google feeds,

There are all sorts of mods available at no charge in the downloads section of this site which is what Merlin is referring to. It's up to you what mods you want to use in your cart.
