Simplified Admin Interface?

Hello,

I am currently working on a project using Zen and I need to create a more simplified administration interface.

Is there any way to turn off features in the administration interface? Or create a separate user that only can have the ability to add/delete/update products?

The reason behind this request is the fact that our customer requires a very simple administration interface.

Any suggestions? Will I need to write a custom admin interface?
