Adding rows to the product listing

Hi,

how do I add 3 more rows to each page of the product listing?

My goal is that the customer has less "pages" to turn.

Here's a page example:

http://www.musecards.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=157

Thanks in advance,
AW

Re: Adding rows to the product listing

What size monitor display are you on?

How about your customers? :unsure:

I take your site to 1024 x 768 and have to now scroll your site ... :eek:

I take your site to 1168 x 768 and while it works ... that isn't very standard ... does it matter?

My own setting is 1280 x 1068 (i have a 19" monitor.)

All sizes, i would guess. But wholesale buyers like "less pages/more scrolling down", whereas retail customers are used to clicking "next" and waiting for the pages to load. So it's a bit of a dilemma... :huh:

Hmmm... good point. Not sure what would be best. What would you recommend?!? :unsure:

Re: Adding rows to the product listing

I'd go play on a few sites and see the standards out there ...

While monitors are getting bigger with wider screens you want to be made for a standard setting rather than haphazard ...

Re: Adding rows to the product listing

There are some problems with #navSupp elements in the footer that are forcing extra width. I haven't searched out the exact culprit, but there is a missing comma in a multiple declaration (after #navSupp ul):```
#navMain ul, #navSupp ul #navCatTabs ul {
width: 50px;
margin-left: 840px;
margin-top: 0px;
padding: 0px 60px;
list-style-type: none;
text-align: left;
line-height: 1.5em;
}

Re: Adding rows to the product listing

Thanks Ajeh.

i did that and need to add more rows to the product listing.

How would i add more rows, changing the number of rows per page from three to 5+?

Re: Adding rows to the product listing

The cause of the extra width turns out to be the padding-left: 140px; in #navSuppWrapper. Eliminating that and tweaking a few other things gets the position you wanted without the width.

#navSuppWrapper {
	background-image: url(../images/main_page_footer.jpg);
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	margin: 0em;
	background-color: transparent;
	color: #000;
	height: 67px;
	width: 100%;
	padding-top: 80px;
	padding-left: 0px;
	}

#navMain ul, #navSupp ul, #navCatTabs ul {
	width: 500px;
	margin-left: 240px;
	margin-top: 0px;
	padding:  0px 0px;
	list-style-type: none;
	text-align: left;
	line-height: 1.5em;
	}
```Fine-tune as required; I can't see the background in Edit CSS mode to tell how it lines up.
