want to remove cat. display in top header space

by defaut, zen cart template displays the catogries in the middle of top main header space. i woud like to remove this. does anyone know how?

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs > turn off.

Not sure, but maybe its good to hide category tabs using CSS (display:none) for SEO?
