Re: Adding a line of text to packing slip

Big_Woody,

i would start with packslip.php in the admin folder...

its still written inside a table, so if you want to leave it that way, you can just throw a define in the bottom cell.

let me if you need more specifics than that.

hope that helps....

Re: Adding a line of text to packing slip

Okay, here goes:

First you are going to modify the packslip.php file in your admin folder. depending on where you want the text to show up, you will insert the following code:

<div id="packingSlipClosure"><?php echo PACKING_SLIP_CLOSURE; ?></div>

A good place would be outside of the table, but inside the body tag. Around line: 169

then, you would edit the language file where you 'define' PACKING_SLIP_CLOSURE.
edit: admin>includes>languages>english>packingslip.php

and add the line at the top (around line 22): ```
define('PACKING_SLIP_CLOSURE', 'Thanks for shopping with us today!');

or the closure you want it to say.

and lastly... you will want to edit: admin>includes>stylesheet.css and add the following: ```
#packingSlipClosure {}
```and insert whatever css code you would like to add...
** The most important thing to keep in mind when editing admin pages, is there aren't really overrides there.  so you need to keep track of all the edits you make.  when you upgrade to a new version of ZenCart those files will have to be re-edited.
There are few efficient ways to do this, that i'm sure you can find with a search in the forums.
Hope that helps...
Re: Adding a line of text to packing slip
change the line to:
<div id="packingSlipClosure" align="center"><?php echo PACKING_SLIP_CLOSURE; ?></div>
css:
#packingSlipClosure {font-size:1.2em}
should do the trick.
