Shipping By Quantity and By Zone

Hello

One of my clients wants to vary the shipping cost by the quantity of the products that are ordered and by the zone that they are going to.

Seems easy..

But I'm still not getting it..

There are apparently 12 zones (I assume in the UK although I guess it doesn't matter where they are) and each will cover several post codes. So the shipping cost can be calculated by know the clients post code (and therefore zone) coupled with the quantity of products they want.

But as I said I can't seem to confihure Zen Cart correctly - has anyone done anything similar or had a flash of inspiration that could help me out..

If you have 1 charge on each item for the 12 zones ...

You could make 12 clones of the Per Item item shipping module and set the charge per item on each one and build the zone that each belongs to in order to manage the shipping for you ...
