categories visible only to a group of users

Hy all,

I would like to know if it is, in some way, possible to configure a category to be viewed and accessed only by a list (group) of users.

I immagine a scenario in which there is the public website with all the categories/products with the exception of a set of categories/products that are designed to be sold only by phone but administered by the same back end.

Did you ever discover the solution for that? That would be the ideal solution for my client.

It didn't exist in 2007, but the Hidden Wholesale mod might do something like what you want.
