Order Not Completing - PayPal Accepting

I've been running zen for several months and have not had any upgrades or changes/modifications in the past few weeks. Everything has worked fine until this morning.

I have customer orders not logging in Zen Cart. They place their order, pay with PayPal and then redirect back with nothing showing in their order history of their order they just made. However, PayPal shows the transaction for me. I cannot find their order in my orders area.

If I issue them a gift code and they pay this way, they are able to repurchase the items they bought so they can download them.

I've gone into PayPal and reset all my IPN and redirects, etc.

What could be going on? This is hindering my sales because I'm having to manually issue gift codes to everyone after they place an order.

I am having the same issue with single downloads not appearing the history and not showing in the orders section. The funny thing is, any product that has multiple downloads works just fine. It makes no sense at all!!!! :frusty:

hmm, it's happened with one multiple product order and then with single orders for me.

just seems strange after it's been working fine forever.

I see in the paypal developer forum (http://www.pdncommunity.com/pdn/board/message?board.id=ipn&thread.id=7454) others are complaining that paypal must have changed something. I'm not sure whether to blame paypal or keep trying to tweak the site looking for a setting that I missed...

OK... You're not going to believe this.

Apparently my original "Download" option name became corrupt or something (and it had a sort order of "0"). All products that used this option name would not work, so I tried creating a new option name called "Download 1" with a sort order of "10", and deleted "Download" from the products and added "Download 1", and it freakin' worked!!!! :clap:

I don't understand how or why this happened, but from everything I've tested, it works. Might have something to do with sort order? Can't be less than 10 or something?

I hope my explanation makes sense, and I hope you can get the same results...

Okay, that is bizarre!

I just edited my first download file option and changed from 0 to 1 on both the options value and options name.

tested an order on a product and it worked.

Hmmmm, how does something like this just happen?

I'm having the same problem. I received a PayPal payment last night with no accompanying order information sent to me via email or recorded in my admin section.

I'm still trying to figure out if the problem is with GoDaddy or PayPal.
