pay by paypal by using a credit card

i ahve set up pay pal account, but when u choose this option it takes u to a page where the ONLY choice is payment by paypal. pay pal check out should give users the option to pay by credit card, which is the one i want to use. not pay by pay pal account.

does anyone know what i have to do to make pay by credit card available?

Please contact PayPal Tech Support about why that option is not showing for your customers.

ive used paypal check out b4 with another cart and love zen cart, but dont understand why on my final payment page it doesnt show the usual option to pay by credit card OR log in to paypal and pay by pay pal.

am i using the right paypal check out inthe admin section of zen. i dont know. there is 2 options.

im using this pay pal express with ipn.

this is driving me nuts!!

same thing is happening to me today. I set it up a few weeks back and when transfering to paypal page there was an option for customer to pay instantly by card as it should be.

I added the latest paypal patch but then on testing the pay by card without signup option was no longer available!

Dont know what to do now.....

Clear your cookies - the page remembers you and knows you have an account and doesn't show the Credit Card option.

aha sorted it - when i patched, the email address was changed (business iD) and was not the same as the primary in paypal account.

What is your PayPal account address as you've configured it in your store?

I know this is an old post, but if anyone else has this issue, make sure you check out the settings under "Website Payment Preferences" the PayPal™ Account Optional ... if you want to allow customers to pay by credit card and not have to create a PayPal™ account, set this to ON.

Please help: I couldnt find this option under 'Website Payment Preferences'- to allow customer to chose pay without paypal login. And even i installed ex checkout, there is no ex ch button in checkout page!!! please help!!! thanks!

Paypal does not give this option to some countries which I found out the hard way. I do know that you can have this option when located in the U.S however for other countries, you have to check with them.
