Sometimes Paypal IPN does not complete the order

Sometimes Paypal IPN does not complete the order

I am a bit baffled here, once in a while, a paypal IPN payment does nto get complete, I get the email from paypal saying I got money, but the order never gets processed

I then have to use the script "Paypal Session Viewer" to see what the client order and create the order manually .. this is a PITA

Is this a Paypal IPN issue ? shoudl I use a different type of paypal checkout ?

Did the customer have a PayPal account? or did they just pay by CC without making an account?

If they pay by CC without having a PP account, and don't click "continue" on the final screen at PayPal where they are asked whether or not to make an account, then the details won't get forwarded to you from PayPal.

If you use the Express Checkout module instead, you won't have that issue.

The clients did had paypal accounts :/

If you're referring to problems this week, note that PayPal had system problems for a couple days.

If you don't want to have to wait on IPN notices to complete in order for transactions to be saved into Zen Cart, you could use Express Checkout instead.

Or try using the PDT support built-in to the IPN module.
