Emailing all customers who purchased a product

I am interested in figuring out a way to send all the customers whom purchased a specific product at my store an email with a coupon to purchase a supplemental product. How is the best way to do this. I do not want to email all my customers, just those who purchase certain products.

first i wanted emailing and it seemed pretty straitforward. create a mailto around the entire list in stats_purchased_products. however, i never actually did it because now my client wants it to be an exported csv list. this is more difficult and i wonder if anyone has done it??
