Fixed Shipping Price Per Item?

Per Item perweightunit Shipping Module uses the products_weight as a method to determin the Shipping Cost ...

Just put the Shipping Cost into the Product Weight and/or Attribute Weight and you will have the Shipping Cost ...

What Shipping Method(s) do the other Products use?

The scenario would be this (currently having only two vendors):

1. Malaysian vendor: using Zones Table Rate (manually entered for each of my zone definitions, depending on his products weight)
2. USA based vendor (the one with fixed prices for each product - shipping to the USA only): using your solution.

What should happen on a mixed cart?

On a mixed cart (considering that the customer is USA based) the two shipping charges would add up.

Example:

A. Malaysian Flute (price: USD 100, shipping to US (3LB): USD 35)
B. USA made Upright Bass (price: USD 200, shipping to US: (20LB): USD 20)

So I am hoping to get a final total shipping price of USD 55.

Does this make sense?

The problem is that these two cannot both work as they both rely on products_weight where one method is using the weight on a Table Rate and the other is using the products_weight as the actual Shipping Cost ...

To manage the Malaysian vendor you would need to compute how much of the shopping cart weight belongs to this vendor to remove that from the regular perweightunit charge and then use that amount for the weight on the Zone ...

While this can be done ... it gets a bit tricky to do ...

It makes sense. I REALLY wish the Multi-Vendor Support contribution for the osccommerce would be ported to work on zencart - while oscommerce suck every facet you turn it, this contribution is absolutley fabulous.
