HELP! too much stuff... how to delete the unwanted things?

what the heck IS that? how can i get rid of THAT?

where is the simple to use delete button for all of this?

i need a system that works. where i can enter in how many dollars per ounces to calculate shipping, and when customers buy all of something it shows up as sold out without me having to click a button, and i don't need a degree in coding to understand what i am doing.

and my shipping costs still don't change even though i keyed in the table units 5:5.50 etc... i cannot figure out what i am doing wrong!

Don't worry, everyone gets frustrated from time to time...

Start from the beginning, and things will make more and more sense.

In the backend you can control the sideboxes that show up in Tools > Layout Boxes Controller. You can turn items on or off, and you can select which column you would like them to be in. left, right, or single.

If you would like that column removed entirely... just go to Configuration > Layout Settings. You will find an option named Column Right Status - Global. Just turn it to 0 and it will turn off.

After you start there, hopefully things will start to make a little more sense... also don't forget to search the forums, someone has asked about most everything you mentioned.
