Shipping: rate table with an exception for faster shipping

We do a table rate for shipping.
Would like to add $10 for 2 day shipping and $20 for overnight.

The only way I can figure out to do it is to add those 2 charges as attributes for each item (as if it was a size of color) with the "**Stock by Attributes v4.5" **contribution.

The only problem with this is that if they order more that one item the attribute charge would be applied to each item (in theory).

Does anybody have a less convoluted way of doing this?

You might either clone Table Rates and change the text on them ...

Or, there are various Shipping Modules in the Downloads that should work for you ...

how do i clone Table Rates?

i gave Priority Order Handling a try - as it was the only one that seemed to fit the bill.
it, however, seems to only do one tier of rush charge - and i need to be able to make 2 "exceptions".

You might do a search on:
zonetable
MZMT

and see if either of these will work for you ...
