Email to certain suppliers

I was wondering if it was possible to have an email sent to my supplier when a certain item(s) # or product was purchased?

I can do that by setting up a rule in outlook, but is there a code I can put in zencart to do that for me?

You could write something for this ...

A search on manufacturer would probably locate several threads and attempts made to get this working that may be of help to you ...
