What controls "new" product display???

Can anyone tell me what controls the display of new products? Is there a way to say "only display the last months entries" for new products? I have products showing up that I don't want to show up.

Or is there a way to say "show only the last 'x' products" to be listed?

Hope this makes sense? I just want to get rid of some older items that are showing up in the New Products box on the main page.

Peek in the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days
