Ban country

Hi,

I want to ban a country from viewing my client's site. All of her products were ripped off in Morocco so we'd like to ban that IP range. Someone a while ago (March 06) posted this:

I can give you my ban system. It's ban by ip range, country, user-agent. PM me if you need it.

Any discrimination worse!!! I live in .ru, but I'am not a spammer!!!

Have you checked in your webmaster panel if there's an IP deny manager? That would probably be the best way to do it.

Hi,

You could probably use the IP2Nation data http://www.ip2nation.com/ to determine the country of origin and then act accordingly. They provide a free MySQL database and sample PHP scripts. I've used it for targeted advertising and it's pretty simple to use.

Afo - Lighttpd is running on my host's server and I can't change a lot.
