product on category directly show on main page

hi.. i want show my product listing directly show on main page. without "New Product for [month]" box on the main page. how to do that? does anyone can tell me??:cry:

I think I'm trying to do something similar... I'll post my question here rather than start a new thread in case it can help us both.

I'm trying to configure the main Home page to display all of my products, and to do so in a simplified thumbnail-style view with little text.

Here's an example of the kind of main page I'm hoping for:
www.oaknyc.com/men/shoes/

Any ideas on where to start to get all my products to appear on the main index page, and to organize them into a matrix?

It's Simple... I have been try this and it works.

first :

configuration > layout setting > Categories- Always show on main page = (enter with) 1 > Main Page - Opens with Category = (enter your id category for example; in http://www.oaknyc.com/men/shoes/ the shoes is in "men" category, if category id for "men" is 65 and subcategory for "shoes" is 66 then u write 65_66, remember just ID ).

second :

configuration > index layout > Show Products on Main Page = (enter with) 0 > show new products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories = (enter with) 0 > Show New Products - below Product Listing = (enter with) 0
