EZ Pages Internal Link Not working

I created my ez page section as a sidebox, everything looks good.

I have for instance an ez page named advertising

I went into includes/english/html_includes

and created a new page called define_advertising.php, then went in zen admin to define pages and defined the page content

in reading the directions and seeing how the links work to for instance the pre-existing page_2, I should be able to use this as an internal link to the page after adding it to html_includes as a php file.

index.php?main_page=advertise

but I get a page not found error. I thought I was catching on to ez pages, and will just about have it if I can figure this part out. I must be missing a part someplace.:frusty:

Re: EZ Pages Internal Link Not working

Can you manually get to the page in the browser?

Re: EZ Pages Internal Link Not working

got HTML to work and disabled trying to use the link as a temp fix, sure want to try and figure that out, i was skeptical about my ability to use EZ Pages and jumped in, was surprised at how really simple it was until i got to that point, I am sure it is me missing something I'll keep searching as I'm sure zen has left a path and I must continue to seek it :-)

Re: EZ Pages Internal Link Not working

When you want to use an internal or external link the links have to actually work ...

If they cannot run on their own, then there is no point to add them to the EZ-Pages until they are fixed to work properly ...
