Admin User Groups & User Permissions

May I suggest:

There should be different levels of Admins, ie Super Admin (Has Control over everything and all functions are displayed. Store Manager (Can only view orders, print invoices, sales reports, viewing payment processing details, and the rest of the modules are not displayed to prevent Store Managers from changing anything that would make the site not work. In addition every module should have some sort of permissions drop down box to ala cart add permissions to every function or module in the admin area. As well as an option to add custom Admin User Groups.

I dunno, maybe this mod has already been made. I would love to make it, but don't know that much about the Zen Cart layout so it would take me ages to program. Anyone else wanna take a crack at it?

You could peek in the Downloads from that nice link at the top of your screen and download the nice Admin Level add-on that was made for this and I bet you'd like that a lot ... :cool:

That admin mod does the trick. It's in use on the Holzheimer's site in my sig. I'm the webmaster and have access to everything in the admin. The store owner has limited access so she can check orders and print packing slips.
