set min qty for all products/categories

Shop has products in categories, but now would like to set min qty for the category or all products in that category with out having to edit every product page. Any help would be great

Do all of the Products have the same master_categories_id in them?

You can check in phpMyAdmin by looking at the products table and browsing it ...

yes.... i looked at the products from the catalog area of admin and clicked on the product to check the "Product Master Category id #" if that is what you are refering to. The products are located in a sub-categories.

Technically, Categories are Categories ... even when a subcategory the Product has a master_categories_id and this matches to 1 Category ...

Do all of the Products that you need to change match to 1 Category or perhaps to a few Categories so that you can use a single command per master_categories_id to adjust the content of the field?
