Updating an attribute price

I have one attribute that costs $10 extra and is on thousands of products. I want to now make it free. is there an easy way to update all the products that use this attribute in one swoop? Or do I have to edit them one by one?

I think there is a (built in) way, but it's slipping my mind at the moment...

Anyway, assuming all of your products use this attribute, you could create a new (inactive) product and apply your attribute and new price to it. Then copy this attribute to each of your other categories.

If only some of your products use it, well, lets hope I'm just forgetting about the built in option... Otherwise, just pick up a copy of Easy Populate.
