Price Factor: Based on other attributes?

Hi,

I need a price factor that is based on another attribute, rather than the product's base price.

Example:

Select Material
Cheap ($100)
Average ($200)
Expensive ($300)

Select Size
Small (factor above by -0.25)
Medium (factor above by 0.00)
Large (factor above by +0.25)

This should generate the following price totals:

. . . . . . . . . . . Small . Medium . Large
Cheap . . . . . . $75 . . . $100 . . $125
Average . . . . $150 . . $200 . . $250
Expensive . . . $225 . . $300 . . $375

Is there any way to do this? I really need the Size option to be based on the Material option, rather than the base price. At this time, dependant attributes do not exist in Zen Cart ...

Price Factor was developed to give more flexibility to managing Products with prices and Attributes where the Attribute price could be based on a relative relationship to the Product price so you didn't have to futz around changing prices on everything when just a change the the Product price would reflect on the Attribute price ...

What about factoring the subtotal (including attributes), rather than just the base price?

Example:

Base Price: $5.00
Option A: +$2.50
Option B: +$2.50

Subtotal: $10.00

Attribute C: Subtotal ($10) factored by 1.5

Total: $25.00

Would this be easier than making dependent attributes?
