free shipping for USA only

I'm having a hard time getting free shipping to show up for just USA customers with a greater than 25 dollar purchase.

I've tried a variety of settngs with the two free shipping modules that come with zen-- in combo with the Order total-->shipping setting

I must be missing something. I can get it to show but it also shows for customers around the world.

It would be better to just utilize the Modules ... Order Total ... Shipping ot_shipping and set that for Free Shipping on orders >= XX.XX

What I'd like is for the various overnight options to also display with free shipping so a customer can choose free slow shipping or fedex overnight.

How can I get free us shipping to appear like that?

For that you would create a Zone for the US ... note that the US includes all 50 states plus DC plus all territories and islands plus the armed services unless you break it down specifically ...

Then, add the Free Shipping Options freeoptions set with the Total >= 25.00 and set the Zone on this ...

Now, this module will only show on orders for the US Zone ... and only when the order is >= 25.00 ...

And, this will then run in conjunction with your other shipping modules ... :smile:

It may sound like a dumb question. How do I set up a zone for the US. Is it done in the [location/taxes]-->[Zones] or [Locatiom/Taxes]-->[Zone Definition]?

If it is the first one: is this how I should put the following information
Country: United States
Zones: US (is this right?)
Code: US (is it right?)
