specials for items priced by attribute

Hi,

How do you put items that are priced by attribute on special? For example 20% off.

And if an item has 4 attributes, how do you only put one of them on special???

There is a setting on each of the Attributes for:

Apply Discounts Used
by Product Special/Sale: YES or NO

weird thing... some of the sales i set via %off show a different price for the sale price vs what the cart charges. for example the price below shows as 21.59, but when a customer adds it to the cart, it adds as 23.99???

Perhaps an URL would help ...

Also check that if you have the Product marked as Priced by Attribute that it is really Priced by Attribute ... if it is just a Product that happens to have Attributes then it is NOT Priced by Attribute ...

You have a weird situation ...

You are using Priced by Attribute ... and you put the Product on Special, which is using the Priced by Attribute to compute the price ... but then, you say the Attribute itself (the lowest priced one which is the display price of the product) is not to have the Special applied to it ...

Now, if you were to mark that Attribute that does not get the Special Price as not to be included in the base price:
Include in Base Price
When Priced by Attributes NO

then the display price would be right and so would the price when added to the cart ... when the Special is applied it is now applied properly ...
