Sort order // coming out alphabetical?

I'm trying to set the dropdown list to:

  1. white
  2. black
  3. grey
    etc..

But it is in alphabetical order, and not in the sort order I put it in.

Help?

Check that the Sort Order is on the actual Attributes of the Product it is doing this on ... and that the default is set correctly ...

Configuration ... Product Info ...

Products Info - Product Option Value of Attributes Sort Order
Sort order of Product Option Values of Attributes for Products Info
0= Sort Order, Price
1= Sort Order, Option Value Name
