Tax Exemption for Check/Money Order?

Has anyone successfully configured their cart so that Check/MO payments are tax exempt?

It's "allowed" pretty much everywhere; such is the beauty of untraceable income.

Of course, as a law abiding member of society, I would never think of depriving the government of their cut... Call me a masochist, I just think it's fun to calculate all Check/MO taxes manually and then pay them out of my own pocket- you know, to make sure they're right and such.

My intent is merely to promote "sales tax on us" as a means of encouraging payment via Check/MO.
