Image Appearance on Screen?

I have some images on my site that look better than others. Can someone one give me a brief over view on image sizing? I like the sizes of my piggy banks. I don't like the size of my Art Accents and my Holiday plaques. I have no programming skills (some basic html knowledge), but I have taught myself the this shopping cart.

Take a look at the image handler 2 contribution, it will resize your images on the fly. Only needing to upload one image also saves a lot of time.
