Populate cart from an external site?
Is it possible to populate a shopping cart with specific items and prices from a link or button on an external site or URL using POST method?
Example: I advertise my products on different sites and want them to be able to click a button on the other sites and be taken directly to my cart with that item added automatically to their cart and they can enter a coupon code they obtain from the external site. If it is possible, can the coupon code be automatically entered as well?
If this has been covered before, I apologize in advance, but if I could get some specific keywords to search for I can research it further.
Thanks,
Darryl
