Getting rid of new products

I can't seem to get rid of new products above 'all products' under categories on the main page. I have done a search on here and seen others have asked the same question. I did everything sugest and still its there:wacko:

Help! I am really confused now:(

Did you turn off the switch in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ...
