Cross-selling module??

How labor intensive is the Cross Selling Module? In other words, do I have to manually associate a "related" product one at a time or can I choose , select a GROUP of Products to Cross Sell, such as CTL-button and select several items at once (or a check box). Or, is it the same labor intensive tecnology as when I need to MOVE or COPY or DELETE items, all ONE at a time.?

First thing to contend with is that there are three versions of the cross sell module, and each one requires the installation of the other one. Or at least this is my understanding of it.

WOW! I think maybe it's time to start looking at other Shopping Carts. I am only hoping that I can export my DB to another more advanced Cart.

I've been there. I went and tried all the other opensource, and some commercial carts.

6 months later I returned to Zen Cart and simply had to dig in and learn to use it.

It's not as hard as it seems, but you'll have to go your own way to figure that out.

But if you want to save time and not go out there and find other carts, then you should keep Zen Cart.

Whoops, I was wrong, you have to have the original cross sell mod installed before installing the latest one I talked about.

For 1.3.7, I think Also purchased is included by default.
To use cross-sell, you have to install the original Cross sell module found in Download section (written for an older version of ZC but can be used for 1.3.7 with no problem)

And then to add more flexibility on the admin side, install Advanced Cross sell or the one in my signature (You just need either one of the 2)

So why don't we just combine them all into one?

Because I'm lazy I guess? I could put the original cross sell module files inside my mod zip file, but I dont really want to do that.

As for the add-on for cross-sell original mod, my mod is an improved version of Advanced Xsell, so well...
