attribute image pop up (large images)

downloaded the contribution and installed as instructed but the mod will not work!!!!!!

here is a product of mine

all the image for the atributes are in the atribute folder

and the lager image is in the root large folder as instructed with the added _lrg added.

the js is uploaded to to correct folder as well and the modual attribute.php

but still not working!!!! anyone have any idea why???

Attribute images do not use large images at this time ...

You would need to re-write the code if you want them to manage large images in some manner ...

its a mod from the downloads section!!!!!

this mod gives pop up images for atributes but its not working!!!

yes i have searched but there isn't one only a thread on the orginal mod which is now out of date, but i have replied on that as well ith no responce

Has anybody figured this out?? I am having the same problem!! It will not work and i have uploaded the images into the correct folders. Please someone help! Why does it seem to work for some people and not others?

the mod does work but the atribute setting needed to be 0 or something, this isn't explained in the download install instructions but there is a contribution thread i found which says it.

Any idea where I can find the contribution thread? Also, what do you mean by "the atribute setting needed to be 0 or something"? Any way you can explain how I can get this to work?

in admin go to

catalog > option name manager

select the file atribute you want the pop up image for and click edit.

on mine its set as a drop down menu with the following settings.

NOTE: Rows, Display Size and Max Length are for Text Attributes Only:
en: Comments:

Rows: 0 Display Size: 32 Maximum length: 32

Attribute Images per Row: 6 Attribute Style for Radio Buttons/Checkbox: 0

you have to have image in a folder on you server as in the instruction on in the contribution

man I wish I could get this to work, I have tried everything that I could find, and I don't want to give up on it :cry:

does anyone have this working in 1.3.8?

actually I was able to get this to work in 1.3.8

as stated before you have to go into the option name manager and then change the Attribute Style for Radio Buttons/Checkbox: to 0
which is Images Below Option Names

there are six choices and I would love for this to work with the value set to 2 Element, Image and Option Name Below

I really like the options and the pics to be right next to each other with radio options

has anyone customized the code to work with something other than 0 and still have a larger picture pop-up?

any help would be greatly appreciated
