Custom Order Fields within Product Listing

I have one product that I want added to my store. This item requires the customer to provide specific details ( more specifically measurements ).

I would like to find a way to add fields to the checkout when selecting this item.
The info then would be sent to me along with their order.

Has anyone done this before and if so is there a tread or information on how to do this somewhere in this forum ? I could not find anything...

I would appreciate some help.

David - I just had my question answered about this. It's called adding product attributes. I, too, use measurements.

There is a tutorial there. Hope that helps!
