Can I turn off category image on product pages?

Can I turn off the category image that appears at the top of product pages? With our products, it looks a little odd to have the two images appear on the product page--category and product. I would like it if just the product image appears on the product page. (Still want category images to appear on sub-category listings, though.) Please advise, and thank you in advace!

Kim, you can turn off the image, but the category name still is there. I want to remove both image/name - is there a method other than modifying the product_info to do that? I want it gone all together. I guess I could upload a trans.gif, that would work, was just hoping for option to turn it off completely.

Options in Admin - Product Info

0= Category Name and Image always shows
1= Category Name only
2= Category Name and Image when not blank

You could always add this to your stylesheet to cause it to not display:

#categoryIcon {display: none;}

But the best way is to turn it off here:
Admin->Configuration->Product Info->Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Position = 0

I had the same problem but turned off the product image in the product page by simply sizing the image to 0px x 0px in the control panel.... It's gone now!

Then, to get rid of the category link you can switch that off from the control panel too.

If you're really stuck with this one and nothing else works,... turn off image required in images in configuration!!!!
