setup thoughts

I have worked with the product in the past but I am not having any luck today. I had many php istall issues with the current build but I have them working for the moment.

I am installing the latest rev of zen, I got to install the app but after accepting the license and clicking next I am getting page cannot be displayed...500 errors?

php is working as the info file is answering like normal.....no zen

I have everyone full control on the folder as well so I shouldnt have a perm issue

this is a 2003 server with php 5 and mysql 5.01:censored:

Re: setup thoughts

I still havent figured out the issue so I installed on another machine........the install went fine but now I cannot access the admin area...the username and password will not work, I have reset this as well as added a new user but it will not log in.

I have seen this on several other applications.....I am thinking this is session issue related to IIS.

thoughts? :censored::censored::censored::censored:

Re: setup thoughts

IIS is quirky ... in all kinds of ways.

The problem might be sessions. It might be cookies. It might be communication issues. It might be PHP configuration. It could be many things.

Re: setup thoughts

PHP does not go very well with IIS, and IIS is not a server of my choice anyway. Do you have to absolutely go with IIS?
Anyway, try to search for "IIS" in the forum, you may find some good info.

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
