Surcharge for foreign check/money orders

Is there a module or hack to add a surcharge for foreign checks?

I recently activated the check/money order option. My store is UK based and recieved a payment from the US for $56 including shipping. When I went to cash the check this morning I was surprised to learn that it will cost $20 to cash, therefore making a loss on this order.

Is there anyway I can add a surcharge for foreign checks but leave it free for local checks?

Better idea might be to not accept foreign checks or money orders by using the Zone Exclusion features.

You can do surcharge for different shipping zones. I never had the need to surcharge for payment from foreign though. Do NOT accept check/money order from a foreign country at all. It doesn't worth the headache come along with it.
