Forced Company Name

After upgrading to 1.3.8 customers are REQUIRED to enter a Company Name. This should not be a required field. How to I disable that alert?

That has nothing to do with v1.3.8.

Just go to your Admin->Configuration->Minimum Values->Company ... and set it to 0.

The default used to be '2' ... back in v1.2 and the first v1.3 release. If it's still '2' in your site, then you've just never changed that field to 0.

The other thing that changed was that several releases back Zen Cart was corrected to ensure that it actually enforce this check when a minimum number of characters had been set (whether by default or intent).
