Add on product in the site

Hi,

I am running the site https://www.spradhanflorist.com , I want to know if there is any possibility to add "Add on" product in ZenCart. So that, when user will try to buy any product, the Add on product will display in the bottom of the main product which the customer want to buy.

Please help me to add "Add on" product in ZenCart.

Please search for the 2 modules: Cross Sell and Better Together.

Hi, yellow1912, I have already downloaded those modules Cross Sell and Beter Togather. Will you please define me how it works and what i have to do next to add "Add on" products?

My Admin>Catalog>Advanced Cross-Sell> showing the following statement ::
"1146 Table 'spradhan_zc1.TABLE_PRODUCTS_XSELL' doesn't exist
in:
[select p.products_id, p.products_model, pd.products_name, count(p.products_id) as xsells from zen_products p, zen_products_description pd, TABLE_PRODUCTS_XSELL px where p.products_id = pd.products_id and p.products_id = px.products_id and pd.language_id ='1' group by p.products_id]

Any suggession? how to create that DB table? Please help me

Did you read the readme file comes with the package? It should contain detailed instruction on how to install and use it.

OH, seem like you are missing a file. Please read the readme file carefully and make sure you upload all the files to the correct folders.

i have not found the readme file inside your zip. and also i am unable to install the SQL patch of "cross_sell_1.3.1" .. it is showing the following error.

I have found a readme file in "cross_sell_1.3.1" package and followed those carefully. but.. huh..

First, FYI, that cross sell is NOT written by me.
Second, seem like you run the patch on phpmyadmin, that patch is designed to be run usng ZC Admin SQL patch tool.

I have also tried to use ZC admin SQL patch upload, but the error i shown, what i have received. So i have done it through phpMyadmin. will you please correct it if it has any wrongs? bcause i gor error which i have described previously.

Someone has exactly the same error, and I posted the solution just 1 or 2 previous page in this topic ^^. (oops, my bad, another thread _)
However, If you used phpmyadmin and everything is functioning then there is no need to try running it from the admin tool again.

I need two category box, like one will be for "Flowers" and other one will be for "Events". Both should be shown in the left side box accordingly. How can i do that using ZenCart.

And one more thing, please open the site https://www.i4uflorist.com << i used orange template for this site. But see, in the center colomn, the underline is comming just under 2 rows of the 3. and when i set number of rows 2, then the underline is comming just under the 1st row. I mean there last row is out of the block .. Any suggession for that?

If you want these boxes one right above the other, you can get the effect using Categories Dressing.

Organize all the categories in the sort order you want, and insert a non-linked heading above the first category in the second group. Make the heading look like the box heading.

I have tried the Category listing in my another site https://www.spradhanflorist.com . Its good, but one thing is there, will you please suggest me how to insert a category just under the "Comming soon" button in that site? I have tried to insert a category item just under the "Coming Soon", but that category showing under the Category Item.

And more than that i want, if any customer clicks on the subcategory under the Category links, the center box i want to show like the home page. i.e. the products i don't want to show in single product per row. I want 3 produts per row. and when the user again click on the product, then it will go for the product description page.

How it is possible? awaiting for your kind help.

Sorry, you can't place categories in with the new products and all products links. They have to be above the links, unless you do some custom coding.

You can put the Coming Soon heading above your category item in the standard Categories Dressing.

For the product layout you want, get the Column Layout Grid mod from Downloads.

In near future i want to submit my all designed templates to Zencart Template. So that user can doenload and use those for their use. How it is possible?

Those are nice looking templates, and it's good of you to want to contribute them to Zen Cart. It will take some work to make the template files into a package that you can zip up without personal settings or information. You might want to look at some of the existing template packages in Downloads to see how to organize your own.

I might suggest you start with spradhanflorist.com/usa/, as that is the most distinctive design with its soft sidebar edges.
