EXTRA CC ORDER info email delayed

This the second time this happend when a customer place an order and pay with credit card, the first time the email was delayed for about an hour and the second time (still waiting for the extra cc order info for an order which was placed yesterday at 8:08 PM (it has been over 12 hours)).

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.7 which i had no such a problem before.

Any ideas?

I checked the mail server to see if the email was still there and it is not fetched to my computer but there is nothing. Thanks for your help and support.

At the present time Zen Cart sends its emails immediately when the order is processed.
Any delays in delivery are a result of your webserver/mailserver configurations and/or congestion talking between servers in order to get the messages to you.

Over all i m receiving the email instantly, only those 2 incidents and it happened with the extra credit card info email.

Is there a way to retrieve such an email from the database? i do not want to call the customer and ask them for the middle digits of their credit card.

No -- that's part of the security ... the information is separated and NEVER stored in full.

I am having similiar trouble with my EXTRA CC ORDER info email in that it abruptley stopped coming in all together, I have not made any changes and wonder why.
I have not received 30 of these emails although I get the New Order Confirmation email.

Correction: the second order that i was suppose to get an email with the Extra Credit info was a money order/check payment, it has been a long weekend.
